PRESERVATIVE DENTISTRY

It is the part of orthodontics which is in charge of preserving the functional teeth, eliminating the least amount of healthy dental tissue.

The objectives are:

  • Allowing the patient to keep correct chewing and aesthetics, preserving the greatest amount of healthy dental tissue, which increases the length of the survival of the tooth in the long term.
  • Carrying out minimally invasive treatments for the dental tissues.

No prosthetic can make an improvement on the functionality of the natural teeth. We must always try to preserve the teeth before deciding on a treatment that substitutes them, and, therefore, it is indispensable to go to the dentist every 6 months.
